All antique clocks offered for sale are vintage or historical items and may exhibit wear consistent with age, including but not limited to patina, minor imperfections, and prior repairs. Each clock is sold as a restored or serviced mechanical timepiece unless otherwise stated.
Full payment is required prior to delivery or transfer of ownership unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Zelle, or Venmo.
The Buyer acknowledges that:
The clock is an antique item and not a new product.
Variations in accuracy, sound, and operation are normal for antique mechanical clocks.
The clock has been inspected and/or serviced to be in working condition at the time of sale, unless otherwise stated to be sold as-is
The Seller provides a one (1) year limited warranty from the date of purchase under the following terms:
Warranty Coverage:
Mechanical failure of the clock movement under normal residential use
Defects in workmanship related to restoration or servicing performed by the Seller
Exclusions:
Damage due to improper handling, transport, or installation
Failure to follow setup, leveling, or maintenance instructions
Environmental damage (humidity, temperature extremes, water exposure)
Normal wear of components such as bushings, springs, or mechanical parts
Cosmetic issues (case wear, finish, glass, dial aging)
Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications
Damage that occurs during shipping (insurance can be provided at owner’s expense)
Service Under Warranty:
Warranty service shall be performed by the Seller or an authorized technician.
The Buyer is responsible for transportation or shipping costs to and from the Seller unless otherwise agreed.
Remedy:
The Seller’s obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or adjustment of the clock. No refunds or replacements will be provided unless deemed necessary by the Seller.
The Buyer agrees to:
Handle the clock as instructed
Place the clock away from HVAC outlets
install and level the clock the clock per instructions
Properly adjust pendulum length as instructed
Maintain appropriate indoor environmental conditions
Avoid moving the clock unnecessarily once installed
Wind the clock within the instructed time period
Failure to follow these requirements will void the warranty.
All sales are final unless otherwise stated in writing. Returns are not accepted in consideration of the unique and delicate nature of antique clocks.
Risk of loss transfers to the Buyer upon delivery or pickup. The Buyer is responsible for any damage occurring thereafter.
The Seller shall not be liable for:
Loss of timekeeping accuracy within Five (5) minutes per week
Incidental or consequential damages
Loss or damage exceeding the purchase price of the clock
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
10.Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Buyer and Seller and supersede any prior discussions or representations.
